Très Bon Salon owner, Randy St. Marie has been in the hair industry since 1985. After graduating from
Beau Monde Hair School, Randy worked many years downtown at Magnum Opus. Having trained in an atmosphere
geared full of teamwork, he wanted to have a similar business of
his own in the Beaverton area. He and his wife opened Très
Bon Salon in February 1999. Wendy, does the
bookkeeping and helps structure the front desk
management.
Presently, Très Bon Salon boasts over 21 employees. Apprentices are hired and trained by Randy
St.Marie on
various types of haircuts before they are able to cut on the floor. This is
an added
6-9 months of training after the initial hair
school is finished. They also train on color, highlights, perms, relaxers and general personal techniques as well. On- and off-site
classes are continually scheduled to keep all the employees up-to-date with the latest in fashion and styling.
Très Bon (meaning "very good" or "in good taste" in French) is a
Full-Service
Hair Salon, also offering Skin Care and Waxing.
